Looking back… July

July 2018, at the height of our beautiful Irish summer, Silver Thread launched What Next? a memoir by Silvija Grigulis Jones – although she calls it “a book of stories”. It tells of Silvija’s childhood in Latvia before and during the Second World War, and of her life as a refugee in Germany and England. It was launched by His Excellency the Latvian Ambassador to Ireland Jānis Sīlis.
